10 days before the Nigerian government's attack on Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky, the revered leader said during one of his lectures:

"For your own information, we are not those to be fooled with something so called Boko Haram! Who is responsible for killing muslims in Yemen? Who is killing Muslims in Iraq? I cannot say Muslims directly as they are killing people irrespective of religion in Yemen and Syria. Who is killing people globally when carefully observed?

"And this is very clear, as America had declared that, it will rule the world by blindfolding the world with war against terrorism. For this reason, it is the one that established them. Here they did not get who will work for them, they are doing it themselves. American military and that of Israel are still in this country. And are conversing with the Nigerian arm forces, over a so called security assurance plan. On something so called Boko Haram. Which is never in existence! They are the Boko Haram and no one else.

"What they are always after is to kill people senselessly and inappropriately. To find a gathering of people and kill. If they said is Boko Haram, why do they bomb Muslims in mosque during friday prayer in Kano? Is praying prohibited? Why do they bomb people in phone selling market? Is using phone also prohibited? They are busy killing people everywhere, in the market, office, shop, motor park, home and street. In view of this, since killing is always taking place. It is better for you to know on which purpose you are killed.

"And recently you heard of how the DSS made a warning, that there will be a terrorist attack in Abuja, and the attack will be on mosques and churches, and the attack as so called will be executed by girls. So, for God's sake, if you are senseless we do have senses. For God's sake where and how do the DSS come to know about this plan? If it is true that they heard of the plan why not go and arrest the culprits. Why are they warning people? They are those to put the bombs and no one else. They have already busked the girls they will tie the bombs to, and kill. Like the ones they sent us along Kano road. They have already busked them, they will only send them to a gathering and press a remote control in their hands. No doubt, DSS will execute this massacre! And those who made the announcement are responsible once the attack is committed."
